New Leadership Delivering Results for District 11
Rural Minnesotan by birth and urban South Dakotan by choice, Kevin Elsing has lived in Sioux Falls for more than 25 years, and in southwest Sioux Falls’ District 11 for 15+ years. He and his wife, Sharon, a lifelong South Dakotan and Augustana College alum, have been married for 23 years. They are the proud parents of two teen daughters: Ripley, a senior at Roosevelt High School, and Afton, a freshman at Lincoln High School.
Following his older daughter's birth in late 2000, Kevin made the leap and devoted himself full-time to building the small information technology business he co-founded into a Sioux Falls-area IT industry leader. Today, ELBO Computing Resources provides managed IT services to hundreds of small and mid-sized businesses in Sioux Falls and beyond. Continually growing, with more than 15 current full-time IT professionals, managers and support staff, ELBO embodies the values of its owners: to seek out proactive solutions, use innovative problem-solving, give back to the community, and support and champion their employees and their employees’ families.
Kevin’s vision for our state government is one that serves and improves the lives of the citizens of South Dakota--in line with our state motto, which reminds our legislature and executive that “the people rule.”
